Australia-Japan essay winners announced
Impressive understanding of Japan and its relationship with Australia can be found in the classrooms of Pymble Ladies College in Sydney. The college was recently named Australian School of the Year in the 25th Australia-Japan Essay Contest 2007. Conducted by the Embassy of Japan and Consulates-General of Japan in Australia, the contest is open to all secondary school students in Australia. Individual winners were Di Yu of NSW (Senior Division), Leo Bremanis of Victoria (Junior B) and Lana Nguyen of NSW (Junior A). Applications for the 2008 Essay Contest are now open.
