OneAsia tour planned to a tee

A Golf OneAsia tour, on par with American and European tours, could begin as early as 2009. The Japan Golf Tour Organisation signed a memorandum with PGA Australasia in December, to create a tour in the region led by Australia, Japan and New Zealand. Japan's commitment to take part in a third major golf tour in the world marks a big step forward in the OneAsia plans, which have been on the cards for three years. A professional tour in Asia would attract more major players to the region and improve standards of play and tournaments.
